We would like to recognize the below for their accomplishments

  • Angel Gandy is the niece of Wanda Kennedy Johnson and a graduate of Murphy High School. She studied culinary arts and participated in JROTC. She plans to attend cosmetology school in the fall to become a hair stylist.
  • Aniya M. Smith is the daughter of Belinda Love and Augustus Smith and the granddaughter of Andrew and Lillie Love. Aniya graduated from James Clemens High School in Madison, Alabama. As the basketball cheer captain throughout her senior year, Aniya demonstrated support, knowledge and guidance to her peers and cheer squad. Aniya plans to attend Texas Southern University (Houston, Texas). She is the recipient of 3 scholarships: The John L. Cashin, Sr. Scholarship Award (Xi Omicron Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated), Generations for America, Inc., and Texas Southern University. Aniya plans to major in Kinesiology, so she may become a Pediatric Physical Therapist.
  • Dr. Aryne Hudson. J.D. is the daughter of Rufus and Kendra Hudson. She is a graduate of University of Alabama Law School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where she received her Juris Doctor Degree. She was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society. Currently, she is preparing for the bar exam.
  • Benjamin Bennett is a the son of Johnny and Annie Bennett. He is a graduate of C. F. Vigor High School a a member of the National Honor Society, the Scholars Bowl, and a running back for the Wolf Pack footba team. He is the recipient of both an academic and athletic scholarship to attend Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama. He plans to major in Physical Therapy and Sports Psychology.
